Scope of Work:

Supervision and where necessary issuing of instructions to contractors to secure the
implementation of the building measures in
keeping with the public-law requirements and performance specifications; |

Pursuit of technical defects, short-comings in the workmanship and incomplete
performance until corrected; |
| › |
Preparation and implementation of final controls, inspection and acceptance of
deliveries and performance; |
| › |
Securing the quality codes for the respective properties and plant by self-scheduled
and
operative quality controls; |
| › |
Organization of the guarantee of safe constructional and technical installation
of the on-site work in the area of responsibility,
particularly the safe interaction of the
work discharged by the various companies; |

Coordination and cooperation with other
specialist supervisors, coordinators and
contractors operating in the special field; |
| › |
Agreement, co-ordination and securing of the contact points
to other trades and firms, as
well as supervision and coordination of the
fulfilment of all contractual agreements between the contractor and the client; |

Coordination and control of the deliveries
made by contractors; |
| › |
Instigation and integration of the developer
performance; |
| › |
Cooperation in the preparation of overall
schedules, instigation of the preparation of
detailed deadlines and deployment plans for the contractors, as well as work
on one‘s own progress concept and plans; |

Control of timely fulfilment as well as coordination and instigation of measures vis-à-vis the contractors on deadline catch-up in cases of identified departures from schedule; |

Preparation, implementation and participationin discussions with the specialist
departments
of the VE-G HV, the BV, the planners, the public authorities and the contractors; |

Interaction and coordination of duties in the
context of putting-into-operation performance. |

Implementation of the requirements of the
fire-prevention regulations as well as safety
and health-protection planning; |

Controlling and checking the installation
equipment of the contractors, the enforcement of the industrial-safety regulations, the stipulations laid down by the public authori ties, the quality requirements, the buildingsite regulations and further regulations of the VE-G; |
| Reporting, Written Correspondence |
| › |
Discharging the written correspondence in
terms of the areas of responsibility; |
| › |
Keeping records of discussions, decisions,
special features, occurrences, delays on deadlines, etc.; |
| › |
Preparation of reports and assistance given
(weekly reports, progress reports, cost reports and schedules); |
| › |
Keeping of a construction daybook. |
