1.Project Description
The Hamburg Hafenbahn (port railway) is part of the Hamburg Port Authority and serves, as an infrastructural facility of the port, the port-specific rail-freight traffic. It is the connecting link between the portoperation track system and the Deutsche Bahn AG transport network.
The Waltershof Hafenbahnhof (port station), which is in the west-lying port area and is to be redesigned and modernized as the „rail gate“ for the container terminal, lies in the forefront of the HHLA Container Terminal Burchardkai (CTB) and the EUROGATE Container Terminals Hamburg GmbH (CTH). In this connection the existing electromechanical process switchbox „Whm“ is to replace the E43 structure.

| › | the preparation of planning sheets for the preferred variants inclusive cost evaluations. |
